Does the client need an account to see the quote?
No. They get a link, open it and accept with one click, no signup. The no-signup quote is for getting started fast and expires after 7 days.
Where does the shopping list get prices from?
From reference market prices for your country, which Mae uses for the first draft. We don't read store catalogs here yet: check the prices and adjust them to your supplier's.
How do I bill the client?
You split the project into milestone payments, with date and amount. The client accepts the quote by link and each payment moves from pending to declared to paid. In Chile we issue tax invoices automatically.
Is the Gantt chart hard to set up?
No. It builds itself from the quote's sections: one stage per trade, sequenced from your start date. You just adjust dates and assign owners.
Can I change what your model builds?
Yes. Every material, quantity and price can be edited by hand. Our model gives you the first draft; you add your margin and judgment.
